The North Coast 500 is a 516-mile scenic route around the north coast of Scotland, starting and ending at Inverness Castle.
The North Coast 500 was launched in March 2015, and the picturesque scenery in the Scottish Highlands is just stunning — deserted sandy beaches, fresh seafood, beautiful castles, diverse wildlife and wonderful walking routes, the North Coast 500 has it all.
Usually called “Scotland’s Route 66”, the route was named fifth in the “Top 5 Coastal Routes in the World”.
