What is the Great Sniffari Virtual Race, exactly?
The Great Sniffari is a special ten-day virtual race created for anyone who loves staying active, whether you're going solo or teaming up with your furry friend.
You can walk, run, hike, or move in any way that works for you. Whether you’re doing the race with your dog, in honor of a past pup, or simply because you love dogs, this race is for you. It's a celebration of movement, community, and our four-legged companions.
How’s this different from regular virtual challenges?
The Great Sniffari is a limited-edition virtual race—distinct from virtual challenges. While it shares the structure of a marathon—time-limited, goal-driven, and medal-worthy—it offers the freedom to progress at your own pace but in a shorter period of time.
This race does not include digital maps or story-based milestones. Rather than following a pre-written narrative, participants are encouraged to create their own adventure—out in the real world, alongside their dogs.
The same Conqueror spirit endures. This is simply a different kind of journey.
What’s the race window?
The Great Sniffari race is available for a limited time only: August 15–25.
Participants may begin at any point during this 10-day window. However, to qualify for the medal set, you must complete your selected distance and click “Claim my medal” before the deadline.
Please note: After August 25, medals will no longer be available, and there will be no extensions or second chances.
When can I sign up?
Last day to purchase is on August 14 at 11:59 PM EEST.
If you’re considering participating, please ensure you register before the deadline.
How do I sign up?
- Purchase to receive your unique join code (available starting May 29).
- Enter your join code in The Conqueror app.
- Select your race distances(5K, 10K, 21.1.K, 42.1K) and unlock your official race bib.
- Begin your training in preparation for race day.
- Start your race on August 15, finish by August 25.

Why call it a race if no one’s competing?
Because there is still a definitive finish line—and only 10 days to reach it.
Whether you choose to complete the distance in a single ambitious effort as in a real life event race, or make consistent progress each day, the race remains the same: reach the goal before time runs out.
How do I access the race once I’ve signed up?
All inside the app. Once you’ve entered your code and picked your distance, your race bib unlocks automatically. Starting August 15, you can manually log miles, track progress, and claim your medals—all in one place.
How do I log my distance?
Track your miles with your favorite app or smartwatch, then just log them manually in the app.
What kinds of activity count?
Any movement counts! Whether you're walking, hiking, cycling, or doing playful laps and zigzags at the park with your furry friend— you can add it all up.
What if I don’t join now? Can I do it later?
Unfortunately, no. The Great Sniffari is a one-time, limited-edition race, taking place only from August 15–25.
The 2025 medal set will not be reproduced, making this a truly exclusive experience.
