The Orient Express Virtual Challenge

The Orient Express was a long distance passenger train service, operating from 1883 to 2009 and spanning multiple routes.

The first route ran from Paris to Istanbul and although it originally started as just a normal railway service, over time it’s name became a symbol for intrigue and luxury rail travel.

When it was first established traveling was still rough and dangerous, therefore it didn’t take long for it to become a showcase of comfort, luxury and status.

The Orient Express became so famous that it inspired multiple books and movies which feature it as a central part of the story, some of them even being simply named “Orient Express” (4 different movies).
