Elvis Presleyâ„¢ Virtual Challenge is now live!
Rising abruptly, in striking contrast to the Central Australian desert around it, Uluru is a half-billion years old sandstone rock formation and one of the most recognizable natural landmarks in Australia. Located in the southern part of the Northern Territory in Australia, it towers over the surrounding landscape at a height of 348 meters and casting a bold image with its striking shades of red.
Uluru is also a deeply spiritual place, being sacred to the Pitjantjatjara people of the desert, concealing mysterious caves and ancient paintings, and being home to rare plants and animals.
